Game of Thrones House of Targaryen is one of the most famous of all the houses from this hit TV series created by HBO – and to honor the legendary strength, bravery, and utter magic imbued in all women, Cardhu Distillery offers their limited edition House of Targaryen Gold Reserve Scotch! With a distilling history that was pioneered by Helen Cumming and her daughter-in-law beginning in the 1800s, Cardu Gold Reserve captures the fire of the female spirit so epically depicted in Game of Thrones with this revered Speyside single malt.

Composed of a mash bill containing 100% malted barley, Cardhu House of Targaryen is NAS whisky aged a minimum of 3 years in toasted ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV.

First released in 2018, this well-balanced quaff opens with a nose of candied malt, cocoa, preserved fruits, and warm honey. On the palate are layers of apricot, banana, and spicy old-fashioned bubblegum.
