Glenlivet 14 Year is matured in bourbon and sherry cask casks before resting in used Cognac casks for at least 6 months. The Cognac casks bring a rare and rich flavor to the fruity and floral Glenlivet. The color is a rich gold, the flavors are made of mandarin, ripe pears, and chocolate-dipped raisins. The finish is smooth and luscious. The scent of the whisky carries a sweet and fruity aroma of honey and apricot jam. Scents of sweet cinnamon bread and spicy licorice carry throughout the whisky. The Glenlivet 14 Year Old is made from a mix of the Speyside distilling method and the French Cognac method. You can taste Scottland and France with every sip you take.
