Laphroaig 10 Year Cask Strength Batch 15 Scotch Whisky

"The only thing between you and the full, uncompromising expression of our most powerful cask strength whisky is the cork. Our Laphroaig® 10 Cask Strength is the purest way to experience the taste created by the land, sea and air of Islay.

Once removed from the barrel after a decade, the spirit is barrier-filtered to remove unwanted char particles. Then, this cask strength single malt goes straight to the bottle. ​ ​ The result is a bracing, full-bodied 56.5% vol whisky delivering renowned smoke with a particular rugged character and depths of sweet and spicy flavour.

A dram poured neat is lively on the nose with hints of vanilla, pipe tobacco and leather while overwhelming the palate with toffee, fudge and cinnamon. Splashing in a couple drops of water draws out additional peat smoke and notes of sea salt."
