The world's first tequila fermented using the "afterlife" method. Muerto lets the yeast die, evolve, and rest for three weeks — a technique borrowed from fine rum production — deepening the connection between agave and yeast. Classical music (the Mozart method) plays during fermentation to enhance the effect.

Two Batches, One Bottle

• Batch One: Agave from Puerta de la Carreta, wild-fermented 28 days
• Batch Two: Agave from Capulin Verde, wild-fermented with fibers 32 days

Blended at still-strength, filtered through volcanic rock, and bottled undiluted at 109 proof (54.5% ABV) by Master Tequilero Sergio Cruz of the Vivanco family distillery (NOM 1414).

Why It's Rare

Only 4,500 bottles were produced. This is a collector's blanco, not a mixing tequila — best sipped neat to experience its raw, unfiltered intensity.
